Parshuram Temple
A 700-year-old temple, located at
a walking distance of less than a km
from the hotel.
Sawatsada Waterfall
One can view this during monsoons only and is at a distance
of 3kms
from the hotel towards the Chiplun town.
Walawalkar Shivaji Museum
A unique museum depicting the life history of the Maratha
ruler Shivaji.
Located at a distance of 30 kms from the hotel towards
Derwan on the
Mumbai-Goa highway.
Ganapati Phule
An ancient pilgrim center, having a naturally formed idol
of lord Ganesha.
The temple is located on a beach with glittering white
sand. It is at a
distance of 120 km from the hotel an approximate drive
of 2 hours.
Guhagar Beach
A pristine beach on the Arabian Sea located at a distance
of 55 km from
the hotel. Still unspoilt and virgin.
Vashishti River Jetty
Situated at a distance of 10 km from the hotel.
The hotel can arrange
boat rides on a motorboat. This is not a facility offered
by the hotel, but can
be arranged by the hotel. The boating is possible only
when there is enough water in the river, at times it is
not possible as the water level is very low.
Gowalkot Fort
Ancient Fort of Shivaji Maharaj, located on top of a small hill,
bank opposite Vashisthi River Jetty, gives you beautiful view of the valley
around & smoothly flowing Vashisti River. Nature lovers can do a decent track
on it to get the actual feel of the fort, will take around 30 to 45 min.
Drive to Mahabaleshwar
Mahabaleshwar is well connected from Chiplun, located approximately 105 km.
from Chiplun, one need to take diversion from Poladpur junction on the way
to Mumbai. For nature lover, a must to do drive, beautiful one full with
ghats & scenic beauty.
Velneshwar South
It is a beautiful temple dedicated to lord Shiva and is
at a distance of
60 km from the hotel a diversion before Guhagar.
Koyna Dam and Reservoir
The famous dam is at a distance of 45 km from the hotel.
It is a drive
worth taking.
Hedvi South
A temple dedicated to lord Ganesh at a distance of 66kms
from the
hotel, again a diversion from the road going to Guhagar.
Veldoor
It offers a breath taking view of the Vashishti river
meeting the Arabian
sea and is located at a distance of 65kms from the hotel.
Marleshwar
Another beautiful Shiva Temple 95 km from Chiplun on the
Devrukh Road.
A temple naturally created in a cave. To see the deity
one needs to get into
this cave. It is said that the lucky ones can see the
snakes living in the
crevices of the cave. |
